"Ford Otosan: Ford ve VW ortaklığı Salı günü açıklanabilir"

(+) Ford Otosan: Ford and VW alliance details may be unveiled next Tuesday Ford yesterday hinted on Company’s future restructuring plans in a statement. In this statement Ford also added that they may announce details of alliance with VW on next Tuesday at the Detroit auto show. Recall that Ford and VW Groups had signed a MoU  on potential co-development and production of commercial vehicles as part of a strategic alliance in June of this year.  With the alliance both Groups plan to share costly electric and autonomous vehicle investments. According to the news, the alliance may include VW producing its Caddy model for Ford, while Ford may produce its Transit as a successor to VW’s Transporter model in Turkey. If signed as stated, the news would be positive for Ford Otosan indicating a significant increase in production volume – however the news is neutral at this stage. We will follow the details on next Tuesday.

Bu notta Ford’un Volkswagen ile olası işbirliğinin de açıklanabileceği belirtildi. Geçen yılın Haziran ayında imzalanan ön anlaşmaya göre Ford’un VW için Transporter üretimini Ford Otosan’ın Kocaeli fabrikasında yapabileceği belirtiliyordu. Eğer nihai anlaşma bu şekilde imzalanırsa Ford Otosan’ın üretim adetlerini artıracağı için pozitif olacaktır. Salı günü gelişmeleri takip edeceğiz.
