Ford Otosan: TAYSAD Başkanı Volkswagen’in Türkiye’de minibüs üretme konusunda Ford ile hemen hemen anlaşmış olduğunu söyledi.

(+) Ford Otosan: TAYSAD President states VW Transporter production in Turkey has almost been agreed / potentially positive TAYSAD (Automotive Suppliers Association of Turkey) Presiden Alper Kanca stated that VW and Ford have almost agreed on producing VW Transporter in Turkey. He added that the Turkish Government should also offer some special incentives regarding this potential investment. Recalll also that Ford has stated last week that they may announce the details of VW alliance this Tuesday at the Detroit Auto Show. With the alliance both Groups plan to share costly electric and autonomous vehicle investments while Ford may produce its Transit as a successor to VW’s Transporter model in Turkey. The news is  potentially positive for Ford Otosan indicating a significant increase in production volume.

Geçen hafta ayrıca Ford Salı günü Detroit Auto Show’da Volkswagen ile olası işbirliğinin de açıklanabileceğini duyurmuştu. Geçen yılın Haziran ayında imzalanan ön anlaşmaya göre Ford’un VW için Transporter üretimini Ford Otosan’ın Kocaeli fabrikasında yapabileceği belirtiliyordu. Eğer nihai anlaşma bu şekilde imzalanırsa Ford Otosan’ın üretim adetlerini artıracağı için pozitif olacaktır.
