(=) Turkey will apply additional duties on US imported petrochemical products Recall that Turkey decided to take measures against US over its decision to impose tariffs on steel and aluminium imports by the end of June. On the petrochemical side, the additional tariffs will be imposed on PVC and PA product segments. We do not have certain information on how much US imports  but we know that on the PVC side, US is one of the biggest importer to Turkey that had been accounted around 30% of Turkey’s total imports in 2010s. We should also remind you that Turkey mostly imports petrochemical products from Middle Eastern countries given their low production and logistic costs, accordingly, we think that the local importers may easily replace their US supply with Middle Eastern products. PVC and PA sales of Petkim comprises 9.6% of its total revenues. As we do not expect a dramatic change in the domestic market dynamics, we deem the news to be neutral for the stock at this stage. We will be back once we discuss the details with the company.

Petkim’in toplam satışları içinde PVC ve PA’nın oranı 9.6% seviyesinde bulunuyor.
