(=) THY cancelled its flights to/from China until Feb 9, 2020 Recall that 16 airline companies all around the world have already decided to cancel their flights to China until March due to coronavirus outbreak. Accordingly, the decision is not surprising considering an increasing concerns over the risk of virus spreading. Far-East (including China) is an important destination for THY, its passengers from the region (Far-East) comprises 13% of total international passengers. Also note that China is one of the main contribution to the growth of global aviation industry also, as c.15% of total air passengers in the world carried from/to China.
